Solo Miners
A solo miner is an individual or entity that mines cryptocurrency—most commonly Bitcoin independently, without joining a mining pool or collaborating with others. Instead of sharing rewards proportionally as in a pool, solo miners attempt to solve cryptographic puzzles (blocks) on their own, and if successful, they receive the entire block reward and associated transaction fees. This approach is sometimes called “lottery mining” because finding a block is rare, especially as the network difficulty grows.
